The decor could use a bit of updating.

Staff and drinks were perfect, had a nice stay in a great location of midtown NYC. The breakfast was included and had lots of meals.

The hotel's location was ideal, close to two subway stations making it easy to navigate this city. Not far from the hotel, we found great shopping opportunities and were very close to Central park. The hotel's staff kindly gave us a card to use for the subway , made our stay even better. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. We loved the daily breakfast and the 5 pm wine and cheese. All the personnel we encountered were very pleasant and helpful.

I loved the vintage charm of the hotel with beautiful murals and woodwork. The library offers complimentary breakfast, wine and cheese in the evening, and coffee service and snacks throughout the day for all guests. The staff were very gracious and accommodating. a good stay.

As young people, we loved the vibrant location and convenient amenities. The guest lounge with complimentary breakfast, wine and cheese, and refreshments was a great way to start and end our day.

We felt so comfortable, with the staff always willing to help, that there was nothing that troubled us during our stay.

Friendly and smiling staff in all areas of the Hotel;. A wide variety of continental breakfast with very fresh products. We felt at home. The lounge is really convenient for tea, coffee and reading. The cocktail from 5 to 8 is really nice with hors d'oeuvres and wines or Prosecco. Nice European clientele during our stay. Impeccable bedding in the room and quality toiletries. Very clean. Very good restaurants in front of the hotel and in the area.

The sound of the fan at the back of the building. I strongly suggest that the institution evaluate the possibility of modifying the windows in the room facing the ventilators. During our stay, we finally got used to it but we must admit that it is surprising. The fact that the Monkey Bar and its restaurant was closed on Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day.

As a light sleeper, I appreciated the quietness of the rooms, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

We checked out on Tuesday at 6 am but the day before that they already closed our lodging, charging the credit card for the stay that was not yet complete, without us having requested it and without consulting us, even though when we checked in we had indicated that we would pay in cash when checking out.

The charm of an old-fashioned hotel, the professionalism, the cleanliness, the club open all day long with self-service hot drinks + wines and cheeses offered from 5 to 8pm. Close to the museums.

Noisy air conditioning

I had a great stay at this venue. Its location is perfect as it is situated within walking distance of everything I wanted to see, and yet it is far enough from all the hideous rave music pumping clubs. The service is excellent, offering everything from dry cleaning, housekeeping, to grocery shopping service and tours/ticket assistance. My room was very cozy and spacious, featuring a mini-bar, sitting area, in-room safe, and television with diverse channels. The staff was amazing, from the doorman to the front hall reception to the maid offering turn down service.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to all.

Excellent location. Comfortable and spacious room. Very complete breakfast. The staff was very friendly, especially at breakfast. Good idea to offer an aperitif in the afternoon, wine, cheese etc. The hotel is located on 54th street. Good height. Between Madison and Park Avenue. A very good area but no noisy bars or places.

In front of the hotel, there is a small building with a device similar to a very large generator or transformer, which emits a terrible noise all day long. At night it is very annoying.

The complimentary continental breakfast and evening wine/appetizers were a nice touch. The common rooms where these were served were comfortable and provided a relaxing atmosphere. the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city and there were plenty of activities and restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel seemed a bit worn and tired, which took away from the overall experience. There was also a lot of noise, both from the room ventilation and the street outside.

Our room, though not large, was comfortable and beautifully appointed, complete with robes and slippers. The hotel captured the essence of a European boutique hotel, with its attention to detail and unique ambiance. we highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in the heart of the city.

The hotel amenities were impressive, with free Wi-Fi, a library, and a business center. Plus, the massage services were a great way to relax after a long day of exploring the city. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, with a flat-screen TV, mini-bar, and a cozy sitting area. I couldn't have asked for more!
